Image Xplorer

Image Xplorer is a specialty internet browser developed by Catzware Inc. for Windows XP and Windows Vista. It was first released on September 20, 2006 as freeware. Unlike most common internet browsers such as Safari and Firefox, Image Xplorer is designed to view, download, and print images (and only images). It supports most common image formats such as .jpeg and .png. It does not support text or any other form(s) of content. A smaller version, called Image Xplorer Lite (also freeware), was released on June 20, 2007. The only difference between the two is the "Lite" version lacks the view mode featured in the original Image Xplorer and thus can only download and print images. As of August 2008, both versions are fully supported by developer Catzware.

Google Chrome is a free web browser developed by Google that has about 1% share of browser market. It was first released as a beta version for Microsoft Windows on September 2, 2008. The name is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or "chrome", of web browsers.

Chromium is the open source project behind Google Chrome, and is released under the BSD license. It implements the same feature set, but has a slightly different logo.

The browser was first publicly released for Microsoft Windows (XP and later only) on 2 September 2008 in 43 languages, officially a beta version. Chrome quickly gained about 1% market share. Mac OS X and Linux versions are under development.

SlimBrowser supports tabs in multiline or single line mode with horizontal scrolling.
You can drag the tabs to change their position arbitrarily.
You can rename tabs so it creates a fixed name for that particular site.
Middle click gesture or double click gesture to close (double click doesn't work on multiline tab mode, but does on multiline button style).
The primary differences between tab and button mode is that the tab you are using is always going to be on the top line, it acts like other normal tabbed controls. Button mode however means they stay in position, which can make managing a lot of sites at once easier.
Tabs can be saved in groups, which can then be opened at any time from the groups menu. Alternatively you can choose to open only sites from that group, or indeed have SlimBrowser open a group on startup.
If the browser crashes, it will remember the tabs you had open, and offer you the option of loading them all back up.
You can restore your previous session's tabs from the file menu (you can also have it do this behaviour by default).
Refreshing of pages can be done en masse - it also has a function to refresh a page automatically - you can choose the time delay.

Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc. and included in Mac OS X. It was first released as a public beta on January 7, 2003, and is the default browser in Mac OS X v10.3 and later. Microsoft Internet Explorer 2 (Internet Explorer 2.0) was a graphical web browser released in November 1995 by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows(3.1/NT/95) and in April 1996 for Apple Macintosh. Version 2.0 featured support for SSL, cookies, VRML, and Internet newsgroups.

Version 2.0 was also released for the Macintosh and Windows 3.1 in April 1996. Version 2 was also included in Microsoft's Internet Starter Kit for Windows 95 in early 1996, which retailed for 19.99 USD and included how-to book and 30 days of internet accesses on MSN among other features. In addition to being sold in the starter kit, Internet Explorer 2 was the first be included in OSR versions of Windows, was bundled with Windows 95 OSR 1. There were 16-bit and 32-bit versions depending on the OS. Version 2.1 came out for Macintosh in August 1996, the same month 2 was superseded by Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 for Windows, which was heavily changed from 1 and 2. It launched with twelve languages including English but this expanded to 24, 20, and 9 for Win 95, Win 3.1 and Mac respectively by April 1996. The 2.0i version supported double-byte character-set. Version 2 lacked many features that became common in later IE versions, including the Blue 'e' logo, shell integration, bundled programs, difficult uninstall, and having significant market share. During its tenure, IE market share only went up to about roughly 3-9% by mid 1996, before IE3 came out.

Windows Internet Explorer (formerly Microsoft Internet Explorer abbreviated MSIE), commonly abbreviated to IE, is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and included as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems starting in 1995. It has been the most widely used web browser since 1999, attaining a peak of about 95% usage share during 2002 and 2003 with IE5 and 6 but steadily declining since, despite the introduction of IE7. Microsoft spent over a 100 million dollars (USD) a year in the late 1990s, with over 1000 people working on IE by 1999.

Internet Explorer was first released as part of the add-on package Plus! for Windows 95. Later versions are available as free downloads and are also included in the OEM service releases of Windows 95 and in later versions of Windows. The most recent release is version 7.0, which is available as a free update for Windows XP with Service Pack 2, and Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or later, and is included with Windows Vista. An embedded OEM version called Internet Explorer for Windows CE (IE CE) is also available for WinCE based platforms and is currently based on IE6. Another Windows CE/ Windows Mobile browser known as Internet Explorer Mobile is from a different code base and should not be confused with desktop versions of the browser.
