How to add some Bing to your browser.

Microsoft launched new browser Bing, the world's first decision engine, to help you make important deicsions faster. To that end, we’d like to show you how to set Bing as your search default on Internet Explorer, Firefox, safari and google chrome.
Switching search engines in your browser of choice is not tough if you've done, but for first timers, it may be difficult to find out where to start.
How do I change IE so Bing is default search engine?
The easiest in IE8, using a Firefox-like model for adding new search engines and setting the standard. IE7 is a bit complicated, but not so much. With IE8, click on this link to Bing search add-on, click on the "Add to Internet Explorer" button. In the next dialog box, select "Make this my default search engine" if you want to Bing to be number 1 search on your parade, click the 'Add' button. That's it.
In IE7, select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu and then under the "General" tab, click the Settings button next to "Search: Change search defaults" section. In the next dialog box, click the link on the lower left, which reads: "Find more providers ..." and when the new browser window opens, click Bing in the list on the left under "Web search. "To Bing the new standard, make sure the" Make this my default search engine in the next dialog. Click "Add Provider" Done.
How to change Firefox so use Bing?
Go to the Microsoft-sanctioned Bing add-on - as apposed some just-so-good unofficial versions - and click the "Add to Firefox" button. You must agree to the privacy policy that shows on the screen. To make Bing Firefox's default search engine, check the "Start using it right away" box before you click the "Add" button.
How do I use Bing on the Google chrome browser?
You gotta do what manual chromium add Bing, which is not surprising given the fact that Bing rival search engine behind Google Chrome.
Right-click On the search bar at the top of Chrome and choose "Edit search engines', click 'Add'.
Enter "Bing" in the first two fields, and string - http://www.bing.com/ search in the third, the words "URL." Click OK. Then the new Bing search item and click the "Make Default" button. Click 'Close'.
Because Microsoft is redirecting all traffic from the now-Kaput Live Search to Bing, you can simply typing and choose "Live Search" from the list under "default search options in the dialog box that appears when you right click the address bar. Everything as a search in the bar is shunted to Bing, not Live Search.
Bing in Safari-
Safari locks its users in Google - although the Windows version of Apple's browser, you can choose between it and Yahoo - so you need to download a tool to add flexibility to search Safari.
The shortcut to Bing is similar to the option Chrome users: Click "Search Engines" in the list on the left, then down to you "Live Search." Check its box. Close Preferences. To Live Search (Bing) the default, click the icon in the search box to the drop-down list and then choose Live Search. Or you can do the typing, like in Chrome.

Many BHO are invisible or unnoticed installed (only a few users read the fine print in the EULA [End User License Agreement (EULA) of the freeware program). Because they are programs, BHO can all do what other programs can do. In addition, there is no easy way, the BHOs that are based on a PC installed, enumerate.
Its installation procedure, voluntary or, more often without your knowledge, uses ActiveX technology. If you inhibit this technology in Internet Explorer, you are safe. If you have asked to keep control on ActiveX technology, you are notified of the attempted installation that you can then accept or refuse.
The mechanism for receiving BHO is integrated with Internet Explorer since version 4. It allows third parties to add functionality or customize it. Microsoft says that on this page: Browser Helper Objects The Browser the Way You Want It and here and even gives a programming example of a BHO.
A BHO is usually when it is visible as one or a series of buttons or a toolbar (toolbar) added to the menu of your Internet Explorer browser without your knowledge. The BHO is always supposed to give you functionality or comfort. In fact, it is most often a hidden functions or parasites, even hostile.
The problems posed by BHO are 4 different types:
1. Problem writing: it turns out that the BHO are often badly written (usually in C + +, a programming language). They plant IE or come into conflict with him or conflict
between them when there are several installed, causing problems very difficult to diagnose and resolve because you often have no way of knowing that BHO s is installed.
2. Problem behavior: The mechanism of BHO to, for example, access to each URL handled by your browser and, therefore, many of BHO are to:
1. Spies (spyware) to track all your movements on the Net (tracking and profiling)
2. A tools (adware), to display advertisements (convergence anti-ads) or
replacement pages (modify your browser without your knowledge) or by other advertising (banners)
3. Hijackers of behavior modification on your browser against your will (such as changing the start page, change the settings for accepting ActiveX controls etc).
They can also routinely conflict with other running programs, cause a variety of page faults, run time errors, and the like, and generally impede browsing performance.
A great little tool for viewing and, if required, disabling, the BHO that may be installed on your machine is BHODemon from Internet and prevent your computer from BHO.

The Startup folder is not the only place where software is directly from the start . In the System Configuration Utility is available to start programs, and there is a good chance that Internet Explorer that is currently affected. Go to Start Run, type "msconfig" and click OK. Go in the window that appears, find the Startup tab. Here you will find in many cases references to your anti-virus software and your firewall. If your browser is also listed, you can unchecked to remove so that he always seems to be the boot is.
Now we are on that tab Startup are: a good look but also that there are no spyware or other unnecessary components between that you can start to slow. Some, including regular, software packages, the irresistible tendency to install as many shortcuts as possible and references to the system to leave, so you can find the program easy and fast to start. Even if you hardly used. Even such references can be to prevent the tray of icons is a fairground. Be it carefully, because you do not want to essential programs off.
One final point: sec that your browser starts, of course, means no additional risk of viruses. The first is whether your Internet connection than already was has come for your virus scanner active. And secondly, the browser itself is not much to do, you'll have yourself to risky sites online. Is possible, for example, that immediately after starting an detects Trojan horse or other intruder from your PC contacts with the outside world. But of course you are protected by adequate firewall you serve it. If that right from the start becomes active, at least.

SpaceTime is a free consumer desktop software application than enables searching, shopping and browsing in a 3D environment. It was released in beta form on June 4, 2007 and is currently available for Windows 2000, XP, and Vista systems, with a Mac OS X version planned Space Time developers are currently working to port the product to the OpenGL framework in order to support the Linux and Unix operating systems.
When using search engines including Google, Google Images, Yahoo!, Yahoo! Image, eBay, and Flickr, SpaceTime loads the first ten results as a stack of pages. SpaceTime is a certified member of the eBay Developers Program.[
CEO Eddie Bakhash began working on SpaceTime in 1999. The product debuted in beta on June 4 2007. On the day of the release, San Jose Mercury News journalist Dean Takahashi noted that the software was "the most advanced 3-D navigation system I've seen. It doesn't make me dizzy, except with the thoughts of what this could become."
The software's capabilities have been compared to other current browsing and 3D technologies such as in TechCrunch's comment that SpaceTime is "pure eye candy, sort of like Second Life meets Firefox."

Features of Opera include high performance, tabbed browsing, page zooming, mouse gestures, and an integrated download manager. Its security features include built-in phishing and malware protection, strong encryption when browsing secure web sites, and the ability to easily delete private data such as cookies and browsing history by simply clicking a button.
Opera runs on a variety of personal computer operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris. But even though evaluations of Opera have been largely positive, Opera has captured only a fraction of the worldwide personal computer browser market. It is currently the fourth most widely used web browser for personal computers, behind Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.
Opera has a stronger market share, however, on mobile devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, and personal digital assistants. Editions of Opera are available for devices using the Symbian and Windows Mobile operating systems, as well as Java ME-enabled devices. In fact, approximately 40 million mobile phones have shipped with Opera pre-installed. Furthermore, Opera is the only web browser available for the Nintendo DS and Wii gaming systems. Some television set-top boxes use Opera as well, and Adobe licensed Opera technology for use in the Adobe Creative Suite.
